JOIN OUR TEAM OF VOLUNTEERS
Volunteers fill a key role at Care Net and we have several opportunities to use your God-given gifts, abilities and talents. If you are interested in joining our Team of Volunteers, please call the Center at 845.471.9284 to set up an appointment to learn more about it.
- Client Advocates – we’ll train you to counsel our clients
- Registered Nurse – to teach Baby Basics Class
- Office/Clerical Work
- Resource Room – sort clothes, assemble layettes for newborns
- Facilities Maintenance – help with painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical needs
- Prayer Partner – lift up the needs of Care Net and clients to the Lord
- Church Buddy – welcome a client at your Church
- Church Liaison – keep your church and pastor informed about Care Net events and needs
- Special Event Helper – help with events like the Banquet and Walk for Life
- Abstinence Team – we’ll train you to do our Sexual Integrity Workshop in schools and churches
- Mentoring Mothers – provide personal support to a new mom
- Youth Groups – seasonal property clean up
Our Services
Our free and confidential services include: self-administered pregnancy tests, referrals for limited obstetrical ultrasounds to confirm pregnancy, options counseling, accurate information about abortion, community referrals, material resource program, Baby Basics Parenting Class, Abortion Recovery Support Groups, individual abortion recovery counseling, Sexual Integrity Workshops, adoption referrals, and Man to Man support.
